Terms of Use
The terms on which you may use this website. Please read them before you go further.
1. About these terms
These terms of use tell you the rules for using this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
These terms govern use of the website only. If we go on to work together, the relationship is governed by our separate Terms of Business (for clients) or by the terms of your engagement or contract for services (for work-seekers) — not by this page. Where those terms and these ones differ, those terms win.
2. Who we are
This site is operated by K A B PROJECTS (NW) LTD, trading as KAB Projects, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 16584990, whose registered office is Apartment 2 Park Court, 1a Mesne Lea Road, Worsley, Manchester, England, M28 7EU.
You can reach us at admin@kabprojects.com or on 0161 804 2000.
We act both as an employment agency and as an employment business, as those terms are used in the Employment Agencies Act 1973. We do not charge work-seekers a fee for finding or seeking to find them work.
3. We may change these terms and the site
We may amend these terms at any time. Check this page when you use the site — the version in force is the one published here. We may also update, change or withdraw any part of the site, and we are under no obligation to keep any content on it.
4. How you may use the site
You may use this site for your own lawful, personal or business purposes: reading about our services, looking at the roles and disciplines we recruit for, and getting in touch with us. You may print or download extracts for that purpose.
You must not:
- use the site in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation;
- use it for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose, or to send unsolicited advertising;
- knowingly introduce viruses, trojans, worms or any other malicious or technologically harmful material;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it is stored on, or any connected server, computer or database;
- attack the site by way of a denial-of-service attack; or
- systematically extract, scrape or harvest content or contact details from the site, whether by automated means or otherwise, in order to build a database or to market to us or to anyone listed on it.
We will report any breach of these restrictions to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will co-operate with them by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the site ceases immediately.
5. Intellectual property
We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in this site and in the material published on it, including its text, layout, design, code, logos and photographs. Those works are protected by copyright and trade mark laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
The photographs on this site were taken on site by the KAB team and are not licensed for reuse. You must not use any part of the content on this site for commercial purposes without a licence from us. If you print, copy or download any part of the site in breach of these terms, your right to use it will cease immediately and you must return or destroy any copies you have made.
6. No reliance on the information here
The content on this site is provided for general information only. It is not advice on which you should rely, and it is not an offer to supply services or to engage anyone. Any description of our services, sectors, coverage or capability is indicative and is subject to a written agreement between us.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the site up to date, but we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content is accurate, complete or current.
7. Enquiries and anything you send us
When you send us an enquiry, a CV or any other material through this site or by email:
- you confirm that the information you give us is accurate, and that you are entitled to give it to us — including where it relates to another person;
- you should not send us confidential information belonging to your employer or to a third party, and we will not treat what you send as confidential unless we have agreed in writing to do so;
- we will handle any personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy; and
- we do not guarantee that an enquiry will lead to a response, an interview, a role or a placement.
Sending us a CV does not create any contract, agency relationship or obligation on our part to represent you.
8. Links, and third-party services
Where the site links to other sites or resources — including our profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok — those links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link in any website that is not owned by you, frame our site on any other site, or suggest any association or endorsement on our part where none exists. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
9. Availability of the site
We do not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or any part of it for business or operational reasons. We will try to give reasonable notice of any planned suspension.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to access the site, and for ensuring that everyone who accesses it through your internet connection is aware of these terms.
We do not guarantee that the site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You should use your own virus protection software.
10. Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Subject to that:
- we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations and other terms that may apply to the site or any content on it;
- we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising under or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this site, or your use of or reliance on any content on it; and
- in particular, if you are a business user, we will not be liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss.
11. Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one item in your browser to remember whether you chose day or night mode. The Privacy Policy explains both in full.
12. Governing law
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
